Congratulations Piranhas on our victory. We finally were able to beat the Lawrence Lightning in a close and exciting meet. The swimmer of the day goes to everyone. There were so many people who stepped up and swam their best times. When I asked kids to swim up in older age groups they did, when I asked kids to swim a multitude of events they did. It was a total team effort and we barely squeezed out the win with the final score 216-199. Everyone was cheering from the parents in the stands to the kids on the side of the pool. It was a great win, and a great finish to a very succesful season.

We’d just like to say congratulations to the team. There wasn’t a single person who didn’t drop their time in at least one event. Great swimming all around. We had some more who qualified for Silvers, and there were many smiling faces today. Everyone should feel really good about themselves. Coach Matt wants to say thank you to all the swimmers. They did a wonderful job marshalling themselves, and made his life very easy. Still doesn’t mean an easy practice on Monday though.
For those attending on Sunday. Please get there before the given warm up time. We had a few who missed warm ups, and its crucial to counting strokes and just getting used to the pool in general. When you come into the building go to the gym to check in with the coaches.
